Introduction and contents This page provides additional resources for MEA110 - Fall 2006. File formats are pdf, jpg and MS PowerPoint. These data provide many additional examples and supplement material in the MEA 110 Fall 2006 lab manual. See also the links page for additional material. Most files are pdf format. File size generally is about 5-9 MB. A few files are up to 75 MB in size and may take a few moments to load in your computer depending on its capabilities. Maps can be rotated from their scanned position to a 'normal' orientation (e.g., north at the top of the map) using the Adobe Acrobat Reader rotation tool. Larger files are most easily viewed starting with "fit window" width option in Adobe Acrobat Reader -- from there you can zoom to the area of interest. There are several useful links at the bottom of this page on general geology of North Carolina. MEA 110 lab manual This semester's version of the lab manual (pdf format) will be linked here. The pdf version has full color images to help you to visualize various topics. However, you must still purchase the current version lab manual. Previous lab manual versions are obsolete and are not used. Updated — July 2006 The "links" page provides links to other selected technical and professional information (see contents).
